Best Picture Books of the Decade

For the past month or so, the holiday season has been taking over my life, but I wanted to at least get some book recommendations out there before the end of the year. So here it is, my best of the best in picture books for the last decade. In my opinion, that is. I couldn't decide whether to list them by author, title or year, and in the end decided on author because I think all of them on this list deserve a deeper look by everyone interested in picture books. Keep an eye out, I plan to make a similar list for chapter books in the next few days.
