Although based on a beloved Christmas carol, Silent Night by Juliet Groom is not a Christmas book. It does however make a wonderful wintertime read. The carol provides the bases for the rhythmic rhyme about a big bear and little bear out one night enjoying the wonders of natures. The delightful illustrations by Tim Warnes create the most wonderful backdrop for uplighting story. A perfect bedtime read on a cold winter's night!
