It's Memorial Day weekend in the U.S. which for me means having to come up with creative desserts. Ok, I didn't get all that creative (making a broccoli salad and cutting up fresh fruit), but while shopping I did find the Jell-O & Cool Whip Summer Desserts booklet in the checkout lane and actually purchased it. For a mere $4.99 I now have a handy tool for helping me with creative, cheap, treats this summer to keep my kids happy! Sure, probably a lot of the recipes are online, or may be familiar to many, but for me (the cooking challenged) this is going to help me beat the summer heat! So, if you're like me and need a few easy tips in the kitchen, or if you're looking for some new cheap ideas, check it out!
